Hey there, I’m Chris.

With over 15 years of experience spanning Apparel Design to UX Design, I bring a diverse and deep background to my work. I earned a BFA in Photography from the Art Institute of Boston and later completed a Master’s Degree in Design with a focus on UX from Burlington College. Originally from New York City, I now call the beautiful town of Burlington, VT home, where I live with my wife, our two children, a flock of chickens, and a guinea pig named Ice Cream.

My journey in design began in the apparel and action sports industry. From an early age, I was captivated by graphics and fashion. After graduating college, my brother and I opened a boutique skate shop in Southern Vermont, eventually expanding to Newport, RI, and Boston, MA. I managed our Boston location on Newbury St., handling everything from daily operations to product design and merchandising. It was here that I realized my true passion lay in design. This led me to launch Bow+Arrow, a clothing line that achieved global success, selling through over 40 retail locations and online platforms such as Karmaloop, Eastern Boarder, and Newbury Comics, all within its first season.

Determined to deepen my expertise, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Design to explore various design fields, including UX and UI Design. This education allowed me to expand my skills and apply them effectively in my work. I’ve led design teams for notable companies such as CVS, Kelly Blue Book, AutoTrader, and HIMSS.

In my current role, as the Director of Product Design at Everyday Health Group, I oversee and guide the design direction for their Consumer Group brands. I lead a talented team of designers, fostering their growth as mentors once did for me. I am committed to continuous learning and teaching while adapting to new tools, standards, and processes. Staying at the forefront of design requires constant growth and development, and that is exactly what I aim to achieve.
